2. Data we process
a) Browsing data. The IT systems running the Website collect, during their normal operation, some data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet protocols: IP address, date and time of the request, requested page, response code, browser type and operating system. This data is used to keep the Website working and secure and to establish liability in the event of computer crimes.
b) Data you provide voluntarily. If you write to us (for example at the e-mail address shown on the Website) or contact us by phone, through our social media profiles or in person, we process the data you give us: first and last name, company, e-mail address, phone number and the content of your message. If you share data about other people, please do so only after informing them.
c) Data collected through cookies and third-party tools. With your consent, the Website uses third-party measurement and marketing tools (Meta Pixel and LinkedIn Insight Tag), described in section 7 and in the Cookie Policy.
The Website is not intended for children under 14 and does not knowingly process their data. We do not process special categories of data (Art. 9 GDPR): please do not send us any.
3. Purposes and legal bases
| Purpose | Legal basis |
| Running the Website, keeping it secure and preventing abuse | Legitimate interest of the Controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) |
| Answering requests for information and quotes | Pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) |
| Managing contractual relationships with clients and suppliers (services, invoicing, support) | Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) |
| Complying with legal obligations (accounting, tax, requests from authorities) | Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) |
| Defending the Controller's rights in and out of court | Legitimate interest of the Controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) |
| Sending commercial and promotional communications (e-mail, phone, newsletter) | Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 130 Italian Privacy Code); existing clients may receive communications about services similar to those already purchased under Art. 130(4) Italian Privacy Code, unless they object |
| Measuring campaigns and showing relevant advertising through third-party cookies and pixels | Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 122 Italian Privacy Code) |
Consent is always optional and can be withdrawn at any time, without consequences for the services you requested and without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. We do not take decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects concerning you (Art. 22 GDPR).
4. Provision of data
Providing the data needed to answer your requests or perform a contract is optional, but without it we will not be able to handle the request or the contract. Providing data for marketing purposes and consenting to non-technical cookies is entirely optional.
5. How data is processed and protected
Data is processed electronically and, where necessary, on paper, by authorised and trained staff, with technical and organisational measures appropriate to protect it against unauthorised access, loss, destruction or disclosure (Art. 32 GDPR), including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access control and backups.
6. Recipients of the data
Data may be shared, only for the purposes stated above, with:
- suppliers processing data on behalf of the Controller as data processors (Art. 28 GDPR): Website hosting and infrastructure (Akamai Technologies / Linode, with servers in Milan, Italy), cookie consent management (iubenda S.r.l.), e-mail services, IT consultants, accountants and administrative advisers;
- providers of third-party tools acting as independent controllers or joint controllers, described in section 7;
- public, judicial and supervisory authorities, where required by law.
Data is never published or sold. The up-to-date list of data processors is available from the Controller on request.
7. Cookies and third-party tools
The Website uses technical cookies, which are necessary for it to work and to remember your choices, and – only after you give consent through the banner – the following tools:
- Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.): measures the effectiveness of advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram and allows ads to be shown to people who visited the Website. Policy: facebook.com/privacy/policy.
- LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company): measures conversions and enables campaigns on LinkedIn. Policy: linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy.
The Website also loads some typefaces from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd.): to display them, the browser connects to Google's servers, which receive the visitor's IP address. Policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
You can give, refuse or change your consent at any time through the cookie banner and the preferences link on the Website. Full details are in the Cookie Policy.
The Website contains links to our social media profiles (e.g. Instagram) and to other websites: a simple link does not transmit any data. Once on those websites, their own privacy policies apply, and we invite you to read them.
8. Transfers outside the European Union
Website data is stored on servers located in Italy. Some providers of third-party tools (Meta, LinkedIn, Google) belong to groups based in the United States and may transfer data outside the European Economic Area. In that case the transfer is based on the European Commission's adequacy decision on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for certified companies, or on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission (Articles 45 and 46 GDPR).
9. How long we keep data
- Browsing data and server logs: for as long as needed for Website security, normally no longer than 12 months, unless needed to investigate crimes;
- information and quote requests: for as long as needed to reply and, if no contract follows, no longer than 24 months from the last contact;
- contractual, administrative and tax data: for the duration of the contract and then for 10 years, as required by law (Art. 2220 of the Italian Civil Code);
- marketing data: until consent is withdrawn and in any case no longer than 24 months from the last interaction;
- cookies and pixels: for the duration stated in the Cookie Policy.
After these periods, data is deleted or anonymised, unless it must be kept to defend a right in court.
10. Your rights
As a data subject, you may exercise at any time the rights provided by Articles 15-22 GDPR:
- access to your data and to information about the processing (Art. 15);
- rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data (Art. 16);
- erasure (“right to be forgotten”, Art. 17);
- restriction of processing (Art. 18);
- portability of the data you provided, in a structured, machine-readable format (Art. 20);
- objection to processing based on legitimate interest and, at any time and without giving reasons, to processing for direct marketing (Art. 21);
